Reese/Finch: Reese gets himself arrested, Finch bails him out

(Anonymous) 2013-08-27 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Reese is in a bad mood, either over a case that's gone bad, or he's reminded of something in his past, any reason that gets him down is good.
His way of dealing with it is to let off some steam. He gets drunk and gets into a fight on purpose, holding back because he 'deserves the pain'. He gets arrested.

It's a Friday night so he'll have to stay in jail for the weekend if nobody comes to bail him out. He knows that Finch would come for him in a heartbeat but doesn't want to call him and would rather stay in jail for the time being so he won't have the chance to hurt anyone else. He figures he can still think about it on Monday.

Little does he know that Finch was worried about him already so he knows exactly where Reese is and comes to get him anyway. Reese is surprised and doesn't want to talk about it, Finch thinks that's not healthy, yadda yadda.

I'd prefer Reese/Finch friendship.

Finch / Reese, or Finch and Reese, possessive!machine, potentially dark?

(Anonymous) 2013-08-27 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch taught the machine to learn. He never taught it to stop. And so it watches Finch. It evaluates the reasons for everything he does and pays particular attention to how he behaves towards, and handles, the asset John Reese.

It learns how to be possessive of Reese, from Finch, when Finch doesn't even know he does that. Until he realises the machine has started to view John not just as an asset but something they both own - and share a responsibility for since sometimes John shows none for himself.

Now he has this information, what will he do about it? Try to dissuade the machine? Come around to its way of thinking and without John being aware, gradually enforce ownership without John realising?

Just how far will they go?

Genderbent!Undercover!Reese, Reese/Elias, even if just implied. Dub/noncon.

[personal profile] msunlucky 2013-08-28 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
I am DYING for more Elias/Reese, so take this prompt with a grain of salt and go where your muse takes you...

So (Jane?) Reese goes undercover as some big time gun dealer and ends up running into Elias unexpectedly. Elias goes along with her cover, but it comes with a price. Elias vouches for her credibility, but only by implying to Reese's desired target that they are in a relationship. To deny Elias would definitely set her target off, so Reese goes along with it.

Elias keeps touching/sitting too close/caressing Reese, and she has to put up with it or blow her cover.

Bonus -- Would die if Elias gets her alone somehow for a quickie.

Finch/Reese, dragon!Finch, POI AU

(Anonymous) 2013-08-30 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
The reason Finch is so paranoid? He told Nathan and Nathan walked away from him - so he hasn't told anyone else, but he's actually a dragon (I'm thinking like Toothless myself). He didn't intend to tell John, but John knows something is going on. When Finch has to change into his other form to save John, he fears John will leave him as well.

John works hard at proving to Harold he is not going anywhere.

(onesided) Elias/John--Werewolf!John, mafia AU.

(Anonymous) 2013-08-31 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Werewolf!Reese

Mafia/Werewolf AU:

Harold Finch is a high ranking member in the mafia. He stumbled upon a homeless, depressed werewolf!John and took him in and cleaned him up. Now John serves Harold and obeys him, accepts him as alpha (and Harold/John if you want).

Carl Elias is *the* boss of the Mafia, higher ranked by far in comparison to Harold. He hears of John and his particular set of skills--sees him in action--and requests (*cough, demands, cough*) that Harold give John to Elias as a "bodyguard". Harold has no choice but to do so.

Comptent/Worried!Reese, Poisoned!Finch, Hurt/Comfort

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
The trope where Finch is poisoned by a substance that will be fatal if he doesn't get the the antidote. Maybe the "bad guys" injected him to get Reese to do something for them (i.e., give up damaging documents or the location of a safe house where Reese or Finch took a number to keep them safe).
Just anything that involves Reese being worried/anxious/competent/afraid-for-Finch, and Finch in desperate need of saving. Bonus points for hurt/comfort aftermath. <3

Reese, Finch - between Number Crunch and Super, carer!Finch

(Anonymous) 2013-09-02 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
How much physical care did Harold provide personally for John after Number Crunch, while John was moving from hotel to hotel? It would have been risky for too many people to be clued in on John's location, no? And Harold is not going to risk losing John because of a betrayal again, so he decides to take care of John as much as he can by himself.

Finch/Reese, POI AU, fallen angel!John, demon!Finch

(Anonymous) 2013-09-02 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch is unique among demons. He isn't actually evil. He strives for a sense of balance, of justice. There are people walking around who deserve to be dealt with and there are people who deserve protection. But to maintain the balance, he needs an angel partner and none of them are exactly willing to work with a demon.

But then he finds John Reese - Reese is actually a fallen angel, in hiding from his brothers, but he still has some powers. When Finch approaches him, he finds a damaged angel in as much need of saving as the people Finch is trying to protect.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-03 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
ROOT IS A VAMPIRE. She is very possibly trying to seduce Finch, or Shaw, or anyone really. Please, I need this to exist.

root/ben linus

(Anonymous) 2013-09-03 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my god, is anyone writing the crossover with Root and Ben Linus? They would be so. amazing.

(inspired by tumblr gifset here: http://redfar.tumblr.com/post/60087841817)

Root, Reese, now it's John's turn, frantic!Finch, rescue, hurt/comfort

(Anonymous) 2013-09-03 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
It was such a lot of fun, when she had John in her office. He with Finch in his ear, she knowing who they were and them not realising, all the while dancing around each other. In fact it was a major turn on. So much so she wants to do it again...

She manages to grab John and hides him away, tied up and drugged with an IV to make sure he stays drugged, and proceeds to play a game with Harold, giving him puzzles and riddles to solve and just maybe if he can make it through, John will be there at the end.

But Harold probably shouldn't take too long, because anything could happen to John while they're playing. Dehydration, someone unfriendly stumbles across him, oh and did she restrain him face up or down, because she's heard how hard it is to breathe when you're face down.

Bonus if Fusco and Carter jump in to help and Carter despite herself really wants to put a bullet in Root this time.

Finch/Reese, misunderstandings, first time

(Anonymous) 2013-09-03 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Or...how Finch and Reese managed to cock block themselves. Because for two intelligent men who are very good at communcation, they are not very good at putting their feelings across to each other.

Which is why Finch really wants to sleep with John, but is convinced John has some kind of bizarre desire to be dominated - held down, tied up, controlled. And that really isn't Harold's thing at all, but if it's what John wants, he's willing to try.

And John really wants to sleep with Harold, but Harold has some kind of controlling bossy top thing going on where every time things start moving he tries to hold him down, or order him, and even looking like he was considering using his tie to bind John's hands. John's not into that at all - what with people always trying to tie him up and imprison or control him all the time. Nope, he just likes it...normal, and maybe to snuggle a little afterwards.

So how are they going to stop thinking for each other and actually sort this out?

Fusco + Reese, pretend relationship, undercover. Definitely crack.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-03 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch is laid up with flu. Even listening to him try to talk over the comm channel is painful. But they have a number, and he provides relationship counselling to gay men. He's dedicated and that's pretty much all he does.

So if Reese and Fusco want to scope him out, they need to go undercover. I would love to see their first session, the counsellor exposing all their issues, and Fusco forgetting they're only pretending to have counselling. And going on about John's trust issues, and how he's fed up with feeling so used, and John all 'really' and for once being left quite speechless.

If Fusco thinks the counsellor is somehow siding with him, he should get all smug about it. And Finch is in both their ears trying to get the situation under control, causing Fusco to bring John's 'mother' into it.

John having to play along but a little stunned that Fusco is having a mini breakdown in the office.

Finch/Reese, non-con, drugged!Finch, hurt/comfort, protective!Fusco

(Anonymous) 2013-09-06 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch and Reese are caught while trying to save a number and separated. When Finch is returned to him, he's very different. The drug their captors have given him has made him angry, turned on and far stronger than John.

Even so, John can probably contain him but with Harold's new found strength it'll be a fight and John would have to hurt him. His only other option is to submit, so he does.

Back at the library, hurt!John has to look after Harold until the drug works its way out of its system. But he needs care too, and when Fusco comes by to check on them he says the state John is in and steps up.

Maybe Fusco deliberately lets slip what happened to Finch, who was already on the way to figuring it out cause he's a genius after all? And woe betide John for trying to keep this secret - but not as much as the people responsible when vengeful!Finch is through with them.

Finch/Reese, AU, pre slash leading to first time, cop!Reese

(Anonymous) 2013-09-06 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
When Detective John Reese's partner Kara Stanton went missing, he's sure HR had something to do with it. He also gets a feeling that one of the witnesses, one Harold Wren, knows more about it than he's letting on. But with no evidence and the threat of suspension hanging over him, John has to investigate Wren on the quiet.

Harold hadn't counted on meeting Detective Reese before he was ready to make him a job offer, but now that the police officer is convinced he had something to do with Stanton's disappearance it's unlikely he'll ever trust or listen to him.

And since Detective Reese's life is in imminent danger, that's a problem.

Finch, Reese, Fusco - support network, hurt!Fusco, 'family'

(Anonymous) 2013-09-06 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Fusco is hurt on duty and admitted to the ER. Nothing life threatening but there was a period of unconsciousness and yep, looks like he's being kept in overnight. Problem is this was his weekend with his son, and when he wakes up he realises he's missed picking the boy up.

That's when he gets a call from Finch to advise him the boy is safe with him and John has gone to deal with the people who hurt Fusco and once he returns they'll be spending the night at one of the safe houses. Fusco's son is pretty impressed with his dad's friends, and Fusco is startled by this and also by the depth of his reaction to the fact that they are looking out for him and his son.

Finch and Reese (or Finch/Reese) amnesiac!Reese, hurt/comfort, BAMF!Finch

(Anonymous) 2013-09-06 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
So while working undercover Reese gets hit on the head and becomes convinced he is the person he's pretending to be. Finch first has to find him, then convince him to come with him, and then try to keep Reese safe (from himself and the people they were after this time) and not have a nervous breakdown in the meantime. I'd love it if the villains catch up with them and Finch finds himself in the position Reese normally occupies - that of protector - because John may still be gutsy and defiant but he doesn't know how to fight or shoot.

Elias/Reese, leading to Finch/Reese, AU, hurt/comfort

(Anonymous) 2013-09-07 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch is probably one of the richest men on the planet. But he has to have something to do with his time, and it should be something he enjoys. So he moonlights as a tailor - he owns the business in fact, though none of the employees know he's their boss.

And that's how he meets John Reese, clearly the kept man of Carl Elias whom rumour has it is a rather unsavoury character. Finch is excellent at reading people but anyone could see Reese is traumatised and not very happy with his situation.

When Elias has Reese come for several fittings for a new wardrobe of suits, Finch gets to know him and formulates a plan to rescue Reese from Elias.

Finch/Reese/Machine, dub-con, D/s

(Anonymous) 2013-09-09 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
The Machine doesn't miss anything. It knows what John needs even if he doesn't, sees how he watches Harold. And so it tells Harold what to do to John, where to touch him, what to say, and how to reassure John when he really isn't sure about this.

I just want the Machine and Finch topping the hell out of an unconvinced Reese, but he needs the reassurance all the same of being so looked after.

And the Machine knows this will just further bind John to Harold, to both of them.

Finch, Reese, John forced to beg

(Anonymous) 2013-09-10 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever the situation or circumstances, John is put in a position where he has to beg Harold to stop. Maybe he has a temperature and Finch has to put him in an ice bath, or maybe it's something darker. Up to writer!nonny.

John suspects Harold is pimping him out to Zoe

(Anonymous) 2013-09-16 09:58 am (UTC)(link)
Several times, when Harold turns to Ms. Morgan for assistance, time spent with John seems to be part of her payment. At first he doesn't notice - it seems normal that Zoe would ask him out to dinner when they haven't seen each other in a while, but it becomes an every-time thing. She asks him out or Harold pushes tickets to something or other on them or offers the penthouse suite again. It's all fun and games until he tries to say no.

Humor preferred, crack welcomed, go angsty if that's your jam.

Harold/John: Drinking and Talking

(Anonymous) 2013-09-20 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
I have to admit that I got the idea from esteefee's story Details on AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/works/969787/chapters/1904678).

I would like to see Harold and John having some drinks together and talking more openly than they usually do. Revealing things they wouldn't tell the other sober, just generally talking candidly with each other.

Maybe the talking turns into something more, and the next morning there's one-sided regret or denial...

I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort so if you could work some sad stuff in that would be much appreciated. But if it doesn't fit that's cool, too.

Any/Reese, con or dub con, Reese didn't know he needed it

(Anonymous) 2013-09-21 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Reese needs this but didn't know it. So Any has to work at persuading him while he works Reese over, takes him right to the edge and then takes him apart, leaving him a sweaty, wrecked mess.

Bonus for aftercare, with Any just holding Reese as he comes back from it.

Finch, non-con, Protective!Reese

(Anonymous) 2013-09-22 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Finch is a victim of non-con. Reese is there to deal with the aftermath. I will love you forever if there's loads of hurt/comfort and a tender/protective!Reese.
Reese, Finch, or Reese/Finch, either is equally wonderful.
:)

Reese/OMC, non-con/groping, protective comforting!Finch

(Anonymous) 2013-09-24 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
A number becomes personal for Finch. He doesn't share the details with John, but John figures out it's something to do with Nathan. Finch should know that where his needs are concerned, especially for something this vital, John's notions of boundaries become skewed.

So he shouldn't be surprised that, in order to stay on the inside, John is letting the wealthy older man behave in a creepy, inappropriate manner towards him.

When he finds out, he immediately goes and recovers John from the number, and totally destroys his world - more for what he did to John than what happened to Nathan (he tells himself it's justice he wants but when he realises what what was happening to John, he knows it was actually revenge and he doesn't mind).

Then he takes John to the library to look after him and tells John sternly that he no longer works for the CIA and he, Harold, will not expect John to prostitute himself for him EVER. If he has one thing he does expect from John it's to try and keep himself safe.

(Because he's Harold's world, now, you know).
