Hooray a new prompt post! In these times I had to stop my rewatch of season 4 because it just got too depressing. I just want some comfort, joy in the little things or something along those lines for the gang. Just show them taking a break from all the stress of the numbers and/or Samaritan.

John gets a plant! Gift? Something he buys for himself? Your call. And he takes good care of it and smiles sweet lil John Reese smiles over it growing and thriving and just enjoys raising his plant very, very much.

Harold can't get it up most of the time, but that's okay--he is still more than capable of showing John one hell of a good time in bed

Established Shaw/Carter and how they integrate Root into their lives. Bonus points for Shaw's incredible state of denial about her feelings for Root.

Harold has a crush on Lionel and is doing everything he can to pretend otherwise. Lionel's too busy trying to extricate himself from HR while being ordered around by a kneecapping vigilante to notice. The rest of Team Machine attempts to matchmake them.

John and Lionel have finally figured out how they feel about each other, and now the only obstacle between them and great sex is time management.

Finch gets injured/sick while working with Fusco. Fusco takes care of him. Unexpected Feelings ensue for the both of them.

I'm posting my eternal request from Exchange of Interest here, because one day, the right person will come across it:

Crackish WWII Enigma machine Bletchley Park AU. Just, victory rolls and ration lists and Loose Lips Sink Ships and visiting GIs and submarine codes and espionage and furtive assignations. I can see pretty much everyone here: John either protecting the US coding assets like Harold and Arthur, Nathan being rich and brash in the style of Howard Stark, Shaw doing terrible going undercover in a typing pool, Root wreaking havoc. Carter hating that she has to fight the system to work with the system. Bear patrolling fence lines and breaking hearts. Even Greer, I suppose, working to his own agenda.

There are very, very few people—especially men—who Zoe will let have control in bed. Harold Finch is one of them.

I wrote this for yesterday's Advent - thank you for an excellent prompt!

Hooray! I am not the OP but it always makes me glad to see older prompts fulfilled.

Nothing gets John off quite like pleasing his partner, especially with his mouth, and he is damn good at it—sucking guys off, rimming, you name it. And he especially enjoys getting Harold off. It takes a lot of effort to turn Harold into a melted puddle of postcoital goo, but John loves the challenge almost as much as he loves Harold. He gives it all he's got and enjoys every second of it (bonus if John comes just from that).

John loves affectionately touching Harold—a pat here, a stroke there, hugs, massages, everything. He enjoys it very, very much. Harold is not used to being touched anymore, and never was the biggest fan of being touched to begin with. But it makes John super happy and it feels good, so he allows it, and is genuinely surprised when he starts to enjoy it and seek it out.

A nice, sweet date night spent watching a meteor shower. John brings tasty foods and makes sure Harold's nice and comfy lying down to watch the sky, Harold tells him space facts or just happily and quietly coexists with him, and they both have a great time.

John attempting to woo Harold while still friends? First date? Been together for a while and finally found time between numbers? Your choice!

After all the times he's been injured (plus being in his 40s), John probably gets pretty achy sometimes, too. Harold helps him feel better with a nice, loving massage.

Harold is forced to take an NZT pill even though he really doesn't want the power.

After rescuing him from the bad people, John comforts Harold through the miserable hangover.

The first Christmas after Nathan dies, Harold loses his first asset, Rick Dillinger. He’s alone the next morning, as depressed as he’s ever been, when Will Ingram calls, missing his dad. Harold and Will both decide to impulsively hop on a plane and meet somewhere colorful to celebrate the holiday the way Nathan would have wanted: with drinks and foods and very tacky festive outfits.

While helping Reese with a number, Fusco poses as a mall Santa. Carter thinks that’s hilarious, until the case gets more complicated and she has to go undercover as one of Santa’s elves. Joke’s on both of them, however: Fusco’s ex wife is at the mall shopping, and Carter’s son Taylor is at the mall singing carols with his school choir. Cue a frantic scramble to avoid being seen in ridiculous outfits by their family members.

Elias approaches Finch with a proposal. Now that he’s taken over organized crime in the city, he’ll dismantle it, if Finch will assist him with the money and resources he needs to improve the schools, create jobs, build community centers and housing projects---basically, turn the part of the city that he controls into the kind of neighborhood where organized crime would never gain a foothold, because the people who live there know they have a future.

Finch refuses, because he can’t trust Elias with resources of that magnitude. But after Finch walks away from Elias, the Machine gets in touch.

Henry Peck, the NSA analyst from “No Good Deed”, takes his new identity and runs, just like Finch told him to. Finch is relieved, thinking the ordeal is over. A few months later, after doing a lot more research, Peck drops a Wikileaks style bombshell and publicly exposes the Machine, and Harold along with it. Reese now has to protect one of the most famous and easily recognized people in the world.

Shaw busts Genrika out of boarding school for the holidays. (It’s unnecessarily dramatic, but that’s part of the fun.) She didn’t really plan any further ahead than that, so she takes Genrika to the library. Finch is appalled. John is amused. Root is intrigued. Genrika is psyched. Everybody takes turns babysitting (“Um, I’m 11, I don’t need a babysitter?”) for the next two weeks. Genrika’s education as a spy in training is notably enhanced.

After a long day, John comes back to his loft to sleep. There are subtle signs of a break in. The intruder left a Christmas tree. Finding out where Harold lives so that John can retaliate is now a top priority mission.

Harold takes his dog to play in the park in the afternoons. One day he notices a shabby figure on a distant bench who seems to making friends with Bear. When Bear comes back, Harold pets his fur and comes away with blood on his hand. A thorough examination reveals that Bear isn’t hurt, so Harold realizes it must be the man Bear was with earlier. Reluctantly, he decides to find out if the man needs help.

Something goes wrong while working a number, and Harold winds up injured and phoneless. Without his app to alert him, he doesn't realize that the person rushing to his aid is Grace until it's too late to flee.
