Like, of course Harold can't just TELL him, he has to drop the tiniest hint for John to unravel (mercenary hackers! school records from the 70's!) but it just makes the payoff so much better because it's so well-earned. Also, Harold's easy joy at the baseball, eee. So warm and satisfying.
