So I have been introducing a friend to PoI (the second one this year! yay!) and just before we watched 'Baby Blue' I was like, "OH! This is the one where they steal a baby!" and she was like, "What?! WHO STEALS A BABY?!" and I assured her it was amazing and then we spent the whole episode making fun of Harold's and (especially) John's 'how do babby work' behavior...anyway, she even noticed that they were totally married, and brought up how ridiculous having the two of them as parents would be: "Could you imagine trying to bring a guy home?! Finch would have the poor dude's social security number and bank info and that time he forgot to return a library book in the fourth grade and meanwhile Reese would just be standing there. Looming. Ominously."

So now I want that fic, maybe something in the future where they have Leila or idk maybe another kid who they probably also stole and they're starting to date. And it is ridiculous. Give me overprotectiveness and poor boundaries and the daughter (or son, because you know they'd be just as bad with a boy, their ridiculousness does not discriminate) being like OH MY GOD YOU TWO ARE IMPOSSIBLE AUNT JOSS PLEASE TELL MY FATHERS TO STOP STALKING MY DATES.
